Q. I tried to access a database, but got a proxy server error

When I clicked on a link for the database, I got an error that said "To allow URL to be used in a starting point URL, your EZproxy administrator must first authorize the hostname of this URL in the config.txt file." What can I do to fix this?

When this happens, it means that there is a configuration error in the proxy server. If you get this message, please copy the entire URL that you were trying to access and email it to khalloumeh@pi.ac.ae or whall@pi.ac.ae.
