There are several group study rooms located in the Petroleum Institute Library. Current PI students, faculty, and staff may use the rooms on a first come, first serve basis. Study rooms are equiped with whiteboards, dry-erase markers, erasers and screens.

The Library does not use a reservation system. The goal is for as many students as possible to have access, and to share the access as fairly as possible. The Library cannot guarantee that a specific room will be available at a specific time and still meet the main goal of consistent universal access.

Conditions of Use

      • PI Library is not responsible for personal items lost or stolen in group study rooms.
      • Before using a study room, please report any damage at the Circulation Desk.
      • Beverages in spill-proof containers are permitted.
      • Items that are abandoned in the room beyond the 3-hour checkout period may be removed by Library staff.
